At ALPS, we have strong international relationships with several research and industrial partners. The institute has welcomed several international students within their studies. Most of them were coming from the University of Toulouse, thanks to our current exchange program, but this program is also intended to students coming from all over Europe.

Topic : Set up of an iCCD camera for plasma analysis

At ALPS, an iCCD camera is used for temporal and spatial analysis of plasma. In order to use this camera for specific experiments, ALPS has hired a student of the BSc Micro- and Medicaltechnology to set up this camera and to make it easier to use.

Having an attractive and intelligible website is highly important for an institute. In order to get an appealing webpage, ALPS has call on a student of the BSc Micro- and Medicaltechnology who is graduated in BA Communication and Media Sciences 

The Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) allows you to extend your subject specific knowledge in the specialist area of “Engineering and Information Technology” as defined by the Swiss Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology. 

 

The MSE is a practically-oriented Master's degree course and is designed for students who have completed a Bachelor's degree with a very good grade. The activities of ALPS are closely related to the MSE areas of Industrial technologies and the Master Research Units (MRU) Production Technology.

PhD work in applied sciences

ALPS offers the opportunity to work as a doctoral student in applied sciences. The BFH is not directly affiliated to a doctoral school.
